Unplug, Unwind, and Wake Up to the Rodeo

Make the most of your rodeo weekend with authentic, wide-open camping at Hughston’s Cow Camp. Gates open on Thursday, and you're free to choose your spot across 450+ acres of beautiful cattle pasture. Whether you prefer setting up by the shade of the trees or sleeping under the stars in an open field, the land is yours to enjoy. It’s peaceful, spacious, and as close to real Western living as it gets — just the way we like it.

Whether you’re pulling in a camper or pitching a tent, camping at Hughston's Cow Camp is all about simplicity, space, and soaking in the Western way of life. With no assigned spots, you’re free to find your perfect view — tucked under the trees, beside the arena, or out in the open pasture beneath a blanket of stars. There are no hookups or city noise out here — just the crackle of a campfire, the sounds of the wind, and good company as you gear up for a weekend full of rodeo action.

Know the Rules

Before heading out to Cow Camp, take a few minutes to review our Rules & Guidelines. They’re designed to keep everyone safe, respectful, and having a great time. From quiet hours to campfire safety and pet policies, it’s all about making the weekend enjoyable for everyone.

Pre-Register Your Camping

Skip the wait and make check-in a breeze by pre-registering your campsite online. It’s quick, easy, and helps our crew get you through the gate and set up faster. You’ll still pick your own spot when you arrive, but pre-registering saves time and helps us plan ahead.

Bring Your ID

When you arrive, have your driver’s license or ID ready at the gate. Campers must be 21 or older to camp, or must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or spouse — no exceptions. This policy is strictly enforced to ensure a safe and family-friendly environment for everyone. We appreciate your help in keeping Cow Camp enjoyable and secure from the start.
